McLean, VA – April 9, 2021: Propeller is pleased to announce support for Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI), a standard developed by IMS Global Learning Consortium, which allows courseware and learning tools from different vendors to be launched within a learning platform, often an LMS. The LTI integration allows the student to move seamlessly from one tool to the other, with minimal effort from instructors or students.

With the introduction of LTI for the Propeller platform, you are able to connect easily, safely, and securely without costly and time-consuming integrations. Students are able to easily access their virtual computer lab and software tools that support learning in the virtual classroom.

“In response to customer feedback, we are excited to launch LTI integration for our Amazon Web Services (AWS) AppStream 2.0 based virtual computer lab,” said Mohammad A. Haque, Chief Technology Officer of Propeller. “The last year has emphasized the need for schools to be able to quickly deploy technology solutions to support student learning and our LTI integration supports that need. “

LTI integration is available at no additional cost in all Propeller Editions, including Standard, Plus, and Premier. Existing customers can contact their customer service manager to enable the integration.
